ABOUT RAW
Welcome to the Reading Art Works (RAW) - the premiere place for Artists and Designers in Berks County. Housed in the old Reading Pattern Works factory, RAW features state-of-the-art studio rentals for artists , communal areas for resident artists to network and share ideas, gallery space to display works, a quality Designer Showroom environment with a wide variety of products for interiors as well as rental space for private showings, exhibitions and events of all kinds.
WHO ARE WE:
David Telstar: Owner and Artist
David attended Parsons School of Art and Design in New York and went on to work with Frank
Gehry
before opening his own graphic design business. Over the years, his works have included corporate commissions, collages, jewelry design and sculpture. Most recently, David has been designing award winning kitchen and bathrooms and is now showcasing his line of custom designed kitchen islands and furniture at the Reading Art Works.
Janice Telstar: Owner and Marketing Director
Janice has been in the events and marketing business for over 20 years. She has successfully coordinated events of all sizes and has won several industry awards and served as President of the National Association for Convention Operations Management. Her writing, design and marketing skills are valuable assets and key to the success of RAW.
